TOS strategies diverge

APMT’s optimal schedule
APM Terminals’ forthcoming Maasvlakte II (MVII) terminal in Rotterdam will initially use the Navis N4 TOS to handle the yard crane scheduling. As previously reported, Navis is implementing TBA’s TEAMS Equipment Control System (ECS) at MVII and planned to have the flexibility to use either system to optimise yard moves, enabling it to test both applications and select the system that gave the best result.
