LXE sees the light

Handheld wireless device supplier LXE could soon change hands as its parent company EMS Technologies is considering selling all or part of the company.

Mobile computing solutions provider Psion Teklogix has launched Psion Omni, a highly modular mobile computing platform that the company claims is a “strategic landmark”. Mobile computers are typically sold as off-the-shelf products, but Omni will give Psion, its resellers and developer partners the opportunity to create more adaptable solutions.
