The Port of Seattle is looking to the web to help reduce truck queues at marine container and intermodal terminal gates…

It plans to install “webcams,” which will enable trucking companies to access its website and see terminal conditions in real-time. Webcams are digital cameras that can be linked to the net.

They will also be able to check out a new, container tracking website, eModal.com, to help cut down on idle trucking time…
