Global reefer production grew strongly in 2007. In contrast to 2006, production was very buoyant during the opening six months and it stayed brisk right up to the year end, with just a slight cooling during the third quarter. However, there were larger volumes of reefer equipment awaiting collection in January 2008 than was the case a year earlier.
