Reefer demand booms

Demand for reefer containers has reached its highest level in years, just as Maersk Container Industry’s (MCI) new facility in San Antonio starts to ramp up production. The new factory has so far booked four orders, split between Maersk Line and CMA CGM, and MCI is eyeing building up to 25,000 reefers at the plant in the short term.
