Lase has unveiled a new sensor-based anti-truck-lifting system to protect against a truck being lifted by a crane due to locked or defective twistlocks. This is an ongoing issue for terminals, including some of the latest facilities using ASCs. Incidents have occurred where a truck and trailer have been lifted completely off the ground, or partially lifted in cases where a single twistlock is defective.
