Cavotec reels for Sri Lanka
Cavotec has won a substantial order for power and spreader cable reels for 12 STS cranes from ZPMC in connection with the latter’s order from Colombo International Container Terminal (CICT) in Sri Lanka, majority-owned by China Merchants group. As previously reported, this order for 12 STS cranes and 40 RTGs is worth US$175M and is touted by ZPMC itself as the biggest single order for CHE this year.
