China’s Zoomlion bids for Terex

As this issue of WorldCargo News was going to press, Terex Corporation announced that it had received an unsolicited offer from China’s Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Development Co, to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Terex for US$30 each in cash, subject to regulatory approvals in the US and China. The bid values Terex at US$3.3B.
