The District Court in The Hague has ruled in preliminary injunction proceedings that Pelican Worldwide’s Smartflow footvalve does not infringe the patent of Fort Vale’s Cleanflow design.

Injunction proceedings were initiated in March after Fort Vale claimed that Pelican’s Smartflow valve infringed its patent on the valve assembly. Fort Vale sought an injunction for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Great Britain, Italy, Luxemburg and Sweden.
