Reyner to quit depot operations

While an increasing number of containers require storage, cleaning and repair, the productivity of depots remains poor and developing new facilities is extremely difficult.

While investment in new depots remains limited and has been insignificant compared with that in ships, containers, ports and distribution centres over the past two years or so, some facilities have been opened and/or are in the development phase.
