Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) has responded to Singapore’s “sea change” on dedicated facilities by announcing that work on Phase II will begin next month.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad was reported to have announced during a visit to Johor that Phase II would add another 6 mill TEU to PTP’s annual capacity, taking it to 10 mill TEU by 2005.
