Port of Bar is in the market for a mobile harbour crane
NewsPort of Bar has decided to invest in a new mobile harbour crane after it lost three grab unloaders in a recent storm.
At the end of August, the Port of Mombasa received two new portal-mounted mobile harbour cranes costing KES868M (US$8.7M), including two new eco-hoppers. The diesel-electric cranes, which replace two older, less productive and less fuelefficient cranes, were funded by TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) through the UK Government’s International Climate Fund (ICF).
