Kocks cranes for Delaware
The Port of Wilmington (DE), located at the confluence of the Delaware and Christina Rivers, and owned and operated by the Diamond State Port Corporation (DSPC), has placed an order with Kocks Krane GmbH, a member of Kranunion GmbH of Germany, for two Panamax “Boxer” multipurpose STS gantry cranes. Both Dole and Chiquita have entered into new long-term contracts with DSPC to call at Wilmington, and this was a primary reason for ordering the new cranes.
