Terex Port Solutions to deliver six RTGs to Manila North Harbour Port Inc in the Philippines.
Terex Port Solutions (TPS) supplied four RTGs from its facility in Xiamen, China to Manila North Harbour Port Inc (MNHPI) in the summer of 2013. These latest six machines will be delivered at the end of 2014.
“We continue to invest in the modernisation of our infrastructure in order to develop and transform our facilities into a first-class port” said Richard Barclay, MNHPI’s CEO. The decision to order six further RTG cranes from TPS was based on the positive experience with the first machines and the TPS team over the past year. Barclay continues: “The four RTG cranes have more than fulfilled our expectations, and so did the after-sales service provided. It was a logical decision to opt for TPS with a view to a further expansion of our capacities”.
Maurizio Altieri, General Manager of the TPS facility in Xiamen said: “MNHPI is a leading player in one of the most dynamic Asian markets, and we are proud that 10 of our cranes will contribute to the rapid growth of this port. Generally speaking, we appreciate that more customers all over the world and especially in Asia continue to rely on our equipment designed and manufactured in our TPS Xiamen facility”.
