Terex Port Solutions (TPS) is now offering the diesel-electric Terex Gottwald Model 5 harbour crane in a high tower variant in addition to its standard short tower variant. The taller tower is 4.3m taller. As a result, the height of the boom pivot point has been increased from 16.7m to 21m and the viewing height of the crane driver from 22m to 26.3m. Thanks to the modified crane geometry, terminal operators now have a Model 5 crane option that can load and unload vessels up to post-Panamax class
