Kribi Deepwater Port receives STS and RTG cranes
NewsFive STS cranes and two RTGs were delivered to Kribi Deepwater Port, Cameroon, for its Phase II expansion, set for completion in 2024.
Tanzania International Container Terminal Services (TICTS), a member of the Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) Group, has placed a US$20M order for two STS cranes and three hybrid RTGs (h-RTGs) with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co (ZPMC).
Scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2014, the two new twin-lift cranes will have the ability to handle vessels with containers stacked 13 rows across and have a lifting capacity of 41 tonnes. They can also be remotely operated from the control tower.
