Taylor launches new reach stacker

Taylor Machine Works has extended its range of US-built reach stackers with the addition of the new TS-9972, which has a stacking capacity with 9ft 6in containers of 99,000lb (45t) up to four high and 94,000lb (42.7t) at five high in the first row. Second row capacity is 72,000lb (32.7t) up to four high and third row capacity 32,500lb (14.7t) up to three high.

The drive train comprises a Cummins 335-hp electronic, turbocharged intercooled, Tier III certified diesel engine, matched to a Dana four-speed electronic, full reversing, modulated transmission with a standard automatic powershift control, with an Axle Tech high-stability, wide-stance planetary drive axle bolted to the frame. The steer axle is a singlecylinder design with fully sealed wheel bearings that do not require adjusting.
