Noell Mobile Systems has provided more information on the first straddle carrier with an energy storage system to be put into service at the Port of Hamburg (see WorldCargo News November 2008, p4). As previously reported, the new NSC E ECO design is now in commercial service at HHLA’s Tollerort terminal (CTT).
