Fatal accident at Algeciras

APM Terminals (APMT) is conducting its own investigation into a fatal accident resulting from an uncontrolled fall of two 20ft containers (twinlift) from a crane (No 12) at its operation in Algeciras. The incident occured on 28 May while the crane was unloading ELEONORA MAERSK. The driver of a small FLT was killed and another worker was seriously injured.
