Doosan for Damietta

Korea’s Doosan Heavy Industries has won a contract to deliver 14 quayside container gantry cranes to Damietta International Port in Egypt for US$123M (US$8.78M per crane). Doosan has said that it expects more orders to follow.

It could be that this remark is a guarded reference to optional quayside cranes or, more obliquely, to the 40-plus RMGs that the port is understood to be negotiating for.
