SMV Konecranes’ Wilmington order

News-in-print

SMV Konecranes has won the bid to supply nine reach stackers to the North Carolina State Ports Authority (NCSPA) for deployment at the Port of Wilmington.

The deal marks SMV Konecranes’ first order in the US and came as a direct result of the company being able to tap into Konecranes’ strong US east coast presence following the takeover of SMV by Konecranes last year (see WorldCargo News September 2004, p1).
