LNG terminal tractor debut

Yusen Terminals Inc (YTI), part of NYK Lines, has placed an order for what it claims are the marine terminal industry’s first yard tractors powered by LNG. The low-emission, LNG terminal tractors from Kalmar’s Ottawa Truck will operate at YTI’s 245-acre facility located on the northern section of Terminal Island in Los Angeles.
