Kalmar launches new straddle

Kalmar has launched its 7th generation straddle carrier range. There are two basic types: the proven, twin-engine CSC “Smoothlift” hoist series; and the enhanced Kalmar “E-drive” electric straddle carrier (ESC) with single, topmounted engine and ac drive. The latter is available with either the Smoothlift hoist or a winch rope hoist (W).
