Tractors take an autonomous journey
NewsTerminal operators continue to work with companies to develop and test autonomous terminal tractors. While most are proceeding cautiously, Hutchison Ports has much more ambitious targets.
More Terbergs for the UK
The Port of Felixstowe has ordered, through Transtec Systems Ltd, 14 more Terberg YT220 terminal tractors, to join its already substantial Terberg fleet. Transtec also recently supplied three more Terberg RT22s to Exxtor Terminals in Immingham and has an order on hand for three more units from Exxtor, an RT22 and two RT280s, fitted with a “Mark 2” version of the new Terberg driver’s cab.
