Kalmar gets in on the ACT

Kalmar Industries has made an agreement to acquire, for an undisclosed sum, Advanced Cargo Transhipment bv (ACT), an automation and software producer based in the Netherlands. The acquisition will further strengthen Kalmar’s considerable resources in automated port terminal R&D and know-how and, for the first time, give it access to classic, passive AGV expertise.
