Following its rejection in March of an offer from the Admiral Consortium (WorldCargo News, March 2006, p1), Associated British Port Holdings plc (ABPH), the UK’s biggest ports operator, reported 23 May that it had received a non-binding proposal at 810 pence in cash per ordinary share from the consortium.
