Westerlund in expansion mode

In the past three years Westerlund, part of Euroports, has further expanded its forest products logistics operations in Europe and China. In Fos it has a 10,000 m2 CFS distribution centre at the Distriport, focused on pulp and paper imports for the southern French market. This fits well into the company’s wider French logistics business and customers can be conveniently served by road. The facility opened in 2007.

Westerlund expansion

Through its local affiiliate Westerlund France, Antwerp-based forest products stevedoring and distribution group Westerlund has acquired Cimep, Mondia Forest Products and Paptrans, all based in Rouen, from Paris-based SPPP-CFPP Group. Long-term cooperation agreements have also been signed.
