Seven bids have been received for the contract to construct the new container terminal at Walvis Bay in Namibia. The seven bidders include three Chinese companies – Sino Hydro Corporation, China Gezhouba Group Company and China Harbour Engineering Company – and another bid was submitted by a consortium of Southern African banks, including Standard Bank.
