Ukraine’s largest private stevedoring company, TransInvestService Ltd (TIS), which owns and operates a 5.5 mtpa bulk cargo (coal, ore, grain, fertilisers etc) handling complex near the staterun seaport of Yuzhny, the newest and deepest (14m) Ukrainian harbour some 35 km northeast of Odessa, plans to construct the country’s biggest container terminal within its 350 hectare operational area.
