Peel Ports Mersey has signed an import deal with B&M Retail that will see the chain store ship 12,000 TEU of imports during 2012, mainly FMCG from the Far East, over the Port of Liverpool, instead of moving the traffic by rail or road from south coast ports. This is four times the volume that B&M moved over Liverpool in 2011.
