Swiss UIRR operator Hupac carried more than 600,000 consignments last year, 18.0% ahead of 2005 and 55.2% up on a three-year comparison. It was the fourth year in a row that the company, which is now running 103 combi-trains/day, has achieved double digit growth and it continues to emphasise that railway liberalisation has been a key factor in increasing the attractiveness of railway products.
