Following the resolution of the long-running dispute between GE Capital and Sea Containers concerning their joint box leasing venture, GESeaCo (WorldCargo News, May 2006, p16), the parties have reached a financial settlement. SeaCo has agreed to pay GESeaCo a net amount of US$16.3M, in addition to amounts SeaCo paid to GESeaCo in 2005 to cure then alleged breaches of the service agreement.
