In a first for the industry, ABB will supply a standard commercial robot as part of a system for connecting a vessel to shore power. The robot is part of a wider contract for power and propulsion systems for two battery powered ferries operated by HH Ferries Group, the TYCHO BRAHE and AURORA, which will become the world’s largest emissions-free electric ferries.
