Dahej development gets green light

India’s A V Birla has decided to develop its own captive jetty at Dahej in the western Indian state of Gujarat into a full scale commercial port. When fully developed, it will have the capacity to handle 5 mill tons of cargo a year against a current capacity of 2 mill tons.
