India building more container depots

State-run rail container operator Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) plans to build a further eight inland container depots and private operators will develop 40 more over the next few years, according to Indian Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Some 60 container depots are currently operational, including three built by private operators.
