MacGregor secures big orders

MacGregor reports orders valued at over US$18 mill for the MacGregor-Conver range of securing products. With contracts to supply securing equipment for 95 vessels, the company says its orderbook is the largest since the containership boom of 1995 and 1996.

Kalmar, which is part of Finland’s Cargotec group is to supply Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam with two fully electric and eight hybrid straddle carriers. The machines will be used in the company’s ECT Delta terminal and be delivered by the end of this year.
