The Chennai High Court in India has stayed an auction for a contract to develop a second container terminal at Tuticorin port in Tamil Nadu state after PSA International questioned its exclusion from the bidding.

PSA was among five entities qualified to bid for the terminal, which will have an annual capacity of 600,000 TEU. PSA made its bid in conjunction with local partner Sical Logistics, with which it already operates the existing container terminal at Tuticorin.
