Meclift for BLT

The Russian economy, low oil prices and sanctions have continued to affect traffic levels this year, but there are several new initiatives in the region.

Finland-based Meclift Oy has extended its range of heavy-duty variable reach trucks with two new models. The ML1812R (i.e. 18t @ 1,200mm LC) has exactly the same footprint, compact dimensions and wheel size as the established ML1612R, so retains the ability to be driven inside a standard Meclift launches lift truck models container to place or pick up a load. It is fitted with the same engine (Cummins QSB6.7) and the same drive train.

Low throughput container handling equipment is assured of a healthy, if unspectacular, future.

Finland-based Oy Meclift Ltd has come up with another niche product, based on its proven ML36CM Container Mover range.

Finnish companes are aiming to build on their good reputations.

Finland-based Meclift Oy is enjoying some success with its model ML36CM Container Mover. Customers include Rauma Stevedoring, which was closely involved when Meclift was designing the machine, Norske Skog and the state of Finland (for which Meclift is a framework supplier).
