Some 12 years after Associated British Ports’ (ABP) plan to develop Dibden Bay, on the western (New Forest) side of Southampton Water, was rejected, following a prolonged inquiry that cost ABP £40M in fees, the scheme at this “strategic land reserve” is back on the table.
