Zeppelin in SkySails JV
Zeppelin Power Systems and SkySails have signed an agreement whereby the two companies will jointly market the SkySails system. Zeppelin Power Systems will become a strategic partner to establish an optimal basis for the next phase of SkySails’ development – introduction into the market.
The new company will operate under the name Zeppelin SkySails Service- und Vertriebsges mbH & Co. KG to combine their joint competencies. The partners say that they want to set new standards for diesel-wind hybrid propulsion technology and systems in a joint marketing and sales effort. Zeppelin has invested €10M in the newly-established company
