Active CA supports cargo conversion for Thai mangoes
NewsDaikin’s Active CA has successfully demonstrated that delicate Thai mangoes can be converted from air freight to ocean transport.
HMM signs up for Purfresh
Despite losing the support of Carrier Transicold (see WorldCargo News April 2012, p18) Purfresh Inc is continuing to sign up new customers for its ozone-enhanced “active atmosphere” system, which is designed to protect organic products shipped in reefer containers from decay.
Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) is the latest operator to team up with Purfresh, which will provide HMM with an ample supply of its Purfresh Transport equipment, particularly during peak season, along with comprehensive post-voyage reports of each trip.
