The Ukrainian government has set a target of reforming and upgrading the country’s seaport sector, with the aim of expanding total cargo handling capacity by 50 Mtpa to 200-210 Mtpa by 2027. The infrastructure ministry is already working on a US$3B programme covering the period 2013-17.
