The shoreside power installation at HHLA’s Container Terminal Tollerort (CTT) has been used for the first time, with Cosco Shipping’s TAURUS being the first vessel to connect in a successful test. Hamburg Port Authority will now carry out further tests in order to expedite the planned installations at the other terminals. It is understood the installation at Burchardkai is already being tested.
