Abu Dhabi Ports Group (AD Ports) is in talks to build a new port 200 km north of Port Sudan on the Red Sea. AD Ports denied widespread media reports in June that an agreement had already been signed with Sudan’s DAL Group, but it did confirm that talks were ongoing with the Sudanese authorities.
