Singapore-based Sea Consortium, which owns X-Press Feeders – the world’s largest independent operator of common-carrier feeder services – is expanding, modernising and ‘greening’ its fleet. This year has seen the group order four 7,000 TEU vessels from Waigaoqiao Ship-building in Shanghai and three 3,100 TEU vessels from Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard.
