Yangtze sets cargo record

Cargo volumes moved along the Yangtze River systems posted another record high in 2018. According to data recently published by China’s Ministry of Transport, a total 2.69 Bt of cargo was transported, up 7.6% on the previous year. In terms of container traffic, 17.5M TEU was moved, and this was up 6.2% on the 2017 level.
