Reefer stack patent bid
Carrier Corp US has applied for a patent on a “method of stacking refrigerated shipping containers”. The application discloses a system where reefers are classified as “low-temperature” (LT) and “high-temperature” (HT) containers, and a vessel stack is organised to position reefers in such a way that the amount of hot air discharged from one reefer entering the condenser of an adjacent reefer is minimised.
