Savona for Alstom

French train maker Alstom has selected the Port of Savona in northwest Italy to ship out train sets for Algeria. The company is supplying 17 six-car sets (including the powered end) to Algerian Railways (SNTF), under a contract placed in July 2015. The shipping contracts run from January through to August this year.
