CIMC evaluates primer thickness

In an attempt to rationalise the existing standard for assessing paint film thickness, container manufacturer, China International Marine Containers (CIMC), has carried out an objective analysis of factory procedures. The current acceptance criterion sets (zinc-rich) primer film thickness at 30 microns, according to a “90-10-90” rule.
