House Committee report says ZPMC poses risk to US security

The TT Club has identified poorly maintained, integrally mounted motor brakes as a contributing factor in wind-related damage claims and recommends that terminals install alternative long travel braking systems.
Despite all that is known about the risks of high winds setting cranes in motion, crane runaways are an ongoing problem. Recently the TT Club has taken a more active role in identifying and managing risks at ports and is soon to issue a new revision of its Windstorm Booklet, a guide for terminals on windstorms and cranes.
